Pastor Andrew Harper continues up "The Armor of God" series

We need to understand that the power within our lives comes from God

- Everyone has beliefs, but we as Christians need to measure our beliefs against the word of God. If it doesn't fit, it's not from God, it's a lie.

- We carry with us, as believers, our peace with God, without God we are discontent.

Ephesians 6:16

The shield of Faith.

- God related this shield to our faith, take it up, carry it as a physical thing.

-Faith isn't something we just have, but something we have to pick up and work on.

Hebrews 11:1

- Faith is tangible, something you can hold onto.

Belief is one thing, but faith is worked on.

We need to believe in faith, over and above everything else.

Romans 8:24-25

Psalms 3:2-3

Faith should be our first, and main line of defence.

- God wants us to understand how to use the pieces of armor he supplies us, for our own protection.

- The two biggest things we can lose as people, are

1- Faith.

2- We stop believing that God is in control.,if in doubt, refocus on God!

Go back to his word.

- Our faith is based on this fact, and reality.

- Keep believing he does everything for our good, even hardships can lead to good outcomes.

- God can use hardships to remind us to rely on him

-Man faith V God faith

Matthew 14:28-31

If doubt gets through, it can permeate into many areas of our lives.
